History

COMPLVTVM is a privately owned school with no public funding. The idea of creating this school stemmed from the need expressed by families and teachers for a school focused on the children’s own development.

It is a school led by teachers with extensive experience in Montessori pedagogy, offering an inspiring educational experience based on this approach. This pedagogy is globally recognized and designed to meet the individual needs of each student, allowing them to reach their full potential in all areas of development. 

Nature and healthy habits are also an integral part of this pedagogy, which we incorporate into our daily routine through gardening and outdoor activities in a natural environment.

Las etapas educativas actuales son Casa de niños (Infantil) de 2 años y medio a 6 años, Taller (Primaria) de 6 a 12 años y Adolescencia de 12 a 16 años. Las edades de cada etapa se corresponden con los planos de desarrollo en los que se basa la pedagogía Montessori. 

Our approach focuses on fostering a natural curiosity and love for learning, giving students the freedom to explore and discover at their own pace. With a prepared environment and educational materials specially designed to meet the developmental needs of the child, our highly trained Montessori educators will guide your child on their path to academic and personal success.

We believe in the importance of creating a safe and warm environment through respect for our students, ensuring their development and happiness. We foster a close relationship between the guide and the child, allowing for individualized attention and support. 

We work with various hands-on and concrete materials that allow for the natural assimilation of each subject in spacious environments with small student-to-teacher ratios. All work is done during school hours, although students may take home research projects they wish to explore further.

Evaluation is carried out through the observation of each student and through the “curricular notebooks,” which document all the work done throughout the year, showcasing the child’s progress and development.

During school hours, the main subjects are taught, including Mathematics, Spanish Language and Culture, Foreign Language, Natural and Social Sciences, Art, Music, and Physical Education. Families can track their children’s curricular progress through a platform called Transparent Classroom. These subjects are not listed separately in the schedule, as they are part of the Montessori cycle and the time allocated to each subject is adjusted based on its complexity at any given moment.

An important pillar within the Montessori cycle is education for peace. For this reason, a daily assembly time is held where each student shares their experiences and conflict resolution is encouraged. In this way, participants express, argue, and debate, reaching agreements based on respect and tolerance, fostering healthy coexistence between children, families, and teachers.
